The Kingswood Rummages take place each year in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, starting the Wednesday before the last full weekend in April. In 2016, the number of registered rummages was 302. Each year, thousands of shoppers from Sioux Falls and the surrounding area come to shop for bargains.
A volunteer committee plans and coordinates the event each year. This event has only three sources of funding - registrations fees from Kingswood residents having a rummage, business advertising we sell and insert into packets that are delivered to all the homes in the primary Kingswood area, and website advertising. With these funds the committee advertises the event in local Sioux Falls newspapers as well most East River South Dakota, NW Iowa and SW Minnesota newspapers. Homes in the primary Kingswood Area receive their registration packets around the first part of March.
A listing of all the rummages that register is compiled and posted on this website. This listing shows the addresses of the homes having sales, as well as some of the items they will be selling and the days and hours their sale will be open. This listing is made available on our website the Friday before the week of the event.
